Motor Salvage Operators Permit

Motor Salvage Operators Permit Anyone whose business deals wholly or mainly with the salvage of motor vehicles needs to be registered with the Council.

Complete and return the application form together with the required fee. A copy of this will be sent to the Lancashire Constabulary and if they have no objections then the registration will be issued. The registration lasts for 3 years.

Making an application

Applications may be made online or by submitting a paper copy of the form. Please visit the 'Forms' section on the right of this page to apply. Details of the criteria for applications and guidance notes to assist with filling in the form are in the publications section. Online applications must be paid for using a credit or debit card.
