The area covers Blackpool town centre and the promenade from Anchorsholme in the North to Squires Gate in South Shore. In addition part of Talbot, Claremont, Bloomfield and Waterloo wards are also included as shown in the map above. This area has been identified as the primary commercial heartland of the town, and as such services will be targeted accordingly through working in partnership with the business community, as well as residents.
The principal objectives of this approach are to devise tailor made services for the area based on its needs, as well as engaging with members of the business community, local residents and others to identify and resolve issues.
