Pavement Maintenance

Blackpool Council is responsible for maintaining pavements and footways in this area. 

Trip hazards on pavements are a key concern at all times, whilst the problem of weeds, standing water and ice tend to be more seasonal.

When work is being done on the highway (including pavements and footways), the organisation carrying out the work is responsible for making sure there is a safe diversionary route for pedestrians and other traffic.
