How long does it take to investigate my complaint?

If the Council accepts the complaint as valid, we must then investigate and decide whether or not it is justified, i.e. whether the height of the hedge specified in the complaint adversely affects your reasonable enjoyment of your domestic property.

A statement will be requested from your neighbour, therefore it will take time to arrange this and undertake a site visit.

You should expect the investigation to take in the region of 12 weeks, but it could take longer.
