What will happen to the hedge?
If it is decided that the hedge adversely affects the enjoyment of your property, the Council can take action in the form of a remedial notice.
The Council cannot require the hedge to be cut down, but the Council can order your neighbour to reduce the height of the hedge. However, this can be no lower than 2 metres.
