+ Life Programme

+ Life is a lifestyle management programme delivered in a number of community venues at a variety of different times to best suit your requirements. This interactive and informative group programme consists of 8 x 2-hour sessions, where you will cover topics such as:

  • Healthy eating
  • Physical activity ideas
  • Understanding food labels – sugar, salt and fats
  • Portion sizes
  • Eating out
  • How changes can benefit your long term health and wellbeing
  • Stress management

After the programme, you will have the knowledge to make healthier choices which best suit you and fit in with your life.


The + Life programme is free of charge for all Blackpool residents who meet the entry criteria.  You can check whether you are eligible by consulting your practice nurse, GP, Children's Centre Professional or your Primary Care Health Care Worker.

You will need a referral from one of the above health professionals to join the programme.
