Pollution Control

Pollution Control Blackpool Council authorises and issues permits to industrial processes under the pollution and prevention sections of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 Part 1 and associated regulations.

Premises including activities such as vehicle re-spraying, the coating of metal and unloading of petrol at petrol stations are regularly inspected to ensure compliance with conditions contained in the permits.
