Positive Steps into Work is a new service designed to get unemployed people back to work.

We know that many people, especially those who have been unemployed for a long time, face very real barriers to returning to work. These may include loss of self confidence, lack of qualifications, childcare problems or health problems.

We have a team of Outreach Employment Advisers who will give you individual one-to-one support to help you back into work. Your Adviser will tailor make a package of support especially for you and you won't be rushed into anything. When you're ready we'll help you to get onto confidence building courses or into training that will give you the confidence and skills you need to get back to work.

We can organise work tasters for you with local employers to help ease you back into work. Your Adviser will be there to support you in producing a CV, writing letters or filling in applications and they'll even help you through the interview process and provide on-going support for you when you start your new job.
