How do I apply to vary my licence?
You can apply to vary the permitted activities, conditions and / or hours of trading on a Premises Licence or Club Premises Certificate. The application should include:
- Application to vary a Premises Licence form
- A new plan if the layout is to be amended
- The original premises licence and summary
- The correct fee (based on the non-domestic rateable value of the premises)
Copies should be sent to the seven responsible authorities, who may object to the application. The proposed changes to the licence must also be advertised on site and in a local newspaper. In applying for a variation you should consider any additional steps that will be taken to promote the licensing objectives if the application is granted, and these should be detailed in the 'Operating Schedule' section of the application form.
