I am buying a licensed premises - how do I transfer the Premises Licence into my name?
A premises licence can be transferred into another individual's name or into a company name.
Two forms should be completed - the Transfer application form (completed by the new licence holder) and the Consent to Transfer form (completed by the outgoing licence holder). The application forms together with the fee (£23) and the original premises licence and summary should be sent to Blackpool Council Licensing Service. A copy of the application should also be submitted to the Police Licensing Unit on Bonny Street.
