What ecological projects are happening?
The Ranger Service is working with a number of partners on various exciting environmental projects across the borough as follows:
- Creation of Fylde Memorial Arboretum and Community Woodland, Moor Park Avenue
- Starting a new 3 year project to improve Biological Heritage Sites in the North of Balckpool, known as the North Blackpool Pond Trail
- Improvement to Staining Nook Marsh
- Undertaking monthly Junior Rangers club
- Conservation work in Stanley Park's woodland areas
- Habitat management on Marton Mere Local Nature Reserve
