Where can I meet the Rangers?
The newly opened Ranger Station is located on Marton Mere Holiday Village , south east of the reserve and serves as a staff and volunteer base as well as a small public information point.
It was opened by Professor David Bellamy OBE in June 2007 and contains leaflets, interesting displays, TV screens projecting images from our exciting bird cams, as well as first aid facilities and a public toilet.
The Ranger Station is kept open as often as we can and is staffed by dedicated volunteers, who will offer advice and information. There may be times when it will be closed for training purposes or special events.
