Does the Register Office have a car park?
Yes we have a free car park at the rear of the Register Office on Charnley Road. If this is full, there is on-street parking in the surrounding streets for which you need to pay.
- Registering a birth takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Birth re-registrations take approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
- Naming ceremonies can last up to an hour.
