Safe and Secure Our Safe and Secure Directory of trusted Blackpool traders has been developed in partnership with Care & Repair, Age Concern (Blackpool) and the Police to provide you with confidence when employing tradesmen for jobs around the home.

Companies and individuals listed on our highly popular Directory have been thoroughly vetted, and not only act in a fair and honest way, but offer high standards of workmanship.

We are continually looking for good traders to join our Directory and would like to hear from you if you feel you can offer excellent customer service, value for money and high standards of fair trading. As from 1st July 2010 the membership fee will be £100

At the same time, it is crucial for us to continually monitor and improve the performance of everyone listed on our Directory. Therefore we would appreciate any feedback you could provide us with – good or bad.

Trader of the Year Awards News!!!

On Friday 27th May 2011 we hosted our first Trader of the Year Awards event for all the members of the Safe and Secure Scheme. For the past 18 months the traders on the directory have been handing out feedback forms to customers they have done work for. This feedback, along with feedback from our partners at Age Concern and Care and Repair, has helped us present some of our members with Highly Commended Awards and one of our members the ‘Trader of the Year Award’
