Who will be present at the Appeal Hearing?
In addition to the Appeal Panellists and the Clerk, the school or Local Authority presenter will be present to explain the reasons for the admissions authority's refusal to offer your child a place.
With your permission, there may be an observer from the Legal and Democratic Services Division, the school or the Local Authority; the observer will play no part in the proceedings.
You are strongly advised to attend the hearing in order that you can present your own case; you are entitled to bring a friend or representative or to call upon witnesses.
