Brochures and common application forms are available from Primary Schools or the School Admissions Team. The application form can be printed off from this site. It is in "Forms", see related information on the right. It cannot be completed electronically.
If you have not already applied for a school place, please note that you still have to complete a paper application form. ( The Online application facility is not available )
However, as the closing dates for applications has now passed, all applications received will be treated as "late" unless there are extenuating circumstances ( ie parent hospitalisation )
A letter offering a school place will be sent to you on 1st March for Secondary Schools and 8th March for Primary Schools.

ANNUAL CONSULTATION ON ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS FOR 2011/2012
The annual consultation on admission arrangements for 2011/2012 is currently in progress and all admission policies for Blackpool schools must be determined by 15 April 2010.
The Children's Services Authority's Admission Policy for determining admission to Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools has been reviewed. This document may be viewed in the link 'Publications'.
Any comments on the Blackpool Admissions Policy should be addressed to: Fran Fothergill, School Admissions Manager, Children and Young People's Department, Progress House, Clifton Road, Blackpool, FY4 4US BY 1ST MARCH 2010.
Voluntary Aided and Foundation (Trust) Schools are also required to consult on their proposed admission policies. The individual draft Voluntary Aided and Foundation (Trust) Schools Policies may be viewed in the link "Publications".
Any comments on Blackpool Voluntary Aided and Foundation (Trust) School draft Policies should be addressed direct to the Chairman of Governors at the school BY 1ST MARCH 2010.
In accordance with the provisions of The Schools Admissions (Alteration and Variation of, and Objections to, Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2007 (SI 2007/496), parents may refer an objection to these arrangements to the Schools Adjudicator.
If your child is aged between two and sixteen and you have been or will be eligible to apply to a Blackpool school, whose arrangements are the subject of objection, you may object if you believe that any arrangements are unlawful or fail to comply with the mandatory requirements of the School Admissions Code.
Any objection should be sent to the Schools Adjudicator. Objections must be by 31 July 2010.
