Will it make a difference if my application is returned after the closing date?

Yes.  If your application is treated as being submitted late this may have a detrimental impact on the ability of admission authorities to offer you a place for your child.  Applications returned after the published closing date will only be accepted and treated as if they were submitted on time where exceptional circumstances have been proven.  If you have had to submit a late application, you are advised to contact the School Admission Team for advice.  You should be aware that submitting a late application could reduce your chance of gaining a place at your preferred school.
