School - Catering

Blackpool Catering Services provide school's with food throughout the school day, in both primary and secondary school's.
Our main concern is the provisions of lunches but we also offer a breakfast and morning break where required, and can also cater for after school clubs.

In primary schools we offer a choice of hot meals each day and also have available unlimited salad, fruit and  bead.  The meals also include a drink and a choice of deserts.

The service style can be either cafeteria or a more traditional family serve dependant upon the schools requirements.

A our menu's provide a healthy balance of dishes as well as meeting the national guidelines  as detail within the goverment legislation. To monitor this we have purchased a bespoke software system. However most important is the fact the meals taste good.

Many Schools have adapted ParenPay as a safe, secure way of paying for meals online. In the secondary schools we also have a cashless system which speeds up the system and removes the stigma associated with free school meals.

Those parents whose children are entitled to have a Free School Meal are urged to register with the Benefits Department . Your school cook will also be pleased to talk to anyone who wants to discuss menu's or to have a sample of the meals.

The weekly menu's should also be available on the individual schools web sites.

We always welcome feedback from pupils and parents as we are always willing to improve our range of meals further.

Please use the link above to see if you are entitled to free school meals.
