School - Visits

School - Visits Every Child Matters, the changing role of the Youth Service and the move towards increased partnership working requires new ways of working together.    It is important that the Council has a duty of care to its staff, which in turn have a duty of care for children and young people whilst undertaking off-site and outdoor activities.    Any person employed by the Council who organises or is involved in an of-site visit with children and young people must adhere to this policy.   The Childrens Services Authority (CSA) recommends that the voluntary aided sector and foundation schools follow this policy.
