Scrap Metal Dealers Registration

Scrap Metal Dealers Registration Scrap metal dealers must be registered with Blackpool Council. A scrap metal dealer’s registration lasts for 3 years. There is no charge for registration.

The Council must be notified within 28 days of any alterations to a registered person’s or business’ particulars, or if the business ceases to operate.

Making an application

Applications may be made online or by submitting a paper copy of the form. Please visit the 'Forms' section on the right of this page to apply. Details of the criteria for applications and guidance notes to assist with filling in the form are in the publications section. Online applications must be paid for using a credit or debit card.
