Skills for Work and Life

Skills for Work and Life The Adult and Community Education team offers Skills for Life (SFL) courses in Financial Literacy.  It has recently completed a European Social Fund / Learning Skills Council  funded project called "Money Matters" .  This enabled 35 organisations in the voluntary and community sector to support over 170 people to improve their budgeting skills and gain "Open College of the North West" (OCNW)accreditation.

We work closely with Citizens Advice Bureau, Blackpool & Fylde College, Blackpool Coastal Housing and Connexions. 
We offer SFL Awareness Training to employees in the public, private and community voluntary sectors.
