Social Services Charges

You will not have to pay for an assessment or for any information we give you, but there may be a charge for the services we provide.
 
If you are eligible for care from Social Services you will be offered a financial assessment to see if you can get financial help towards the cost of your care. This will never be the full cost of the service, but a contribution based on your income.

If you have less than £23,250 in savings you may be eligible for a reduction in the amount you have to pay towards the cost of your care. We will also take into account your income including state benefits and work pensions.

If you have less that £14,250 in savings these will be ignored when we work out your contribution.
