Complex and Severe Learning Difficulties

We work with all pupils who are school age, from primary through to secondary, and assist with transitions in Further Education and work placements.

We offer advice, monitoring and assessment of pupils in educational settings. We also run training programmes for parents which include Earlybird and Earlybird Plus.

We have links with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) and many other agencies which include Autism Initiatives and Adult Services. We work closely with leisure services and run a youth club for young people with Asperger syndrome.

We have an Autism Working party dedicated to developing the service and attend local North West partnership meetings.

Our staff specialise in helping people with their behaviour so if you think your child has a learning disability or behaviour problems, please contact us for help.

If you would like more information about Autism, please look at the National Autistic website.
