Website Performance Statistics
Reliable performance of our website is very important to us to encourage and maintain the use of quality web-based services.  

Our aim is to have the Blackpool Council website available for use as much as possible 24 hours per day throughout the year.  However, it is sometimes necessary for us to carry out essential maintenance to continue improvements to our site and the services we provide.  This may result in some down-time but our target for availability is 99%.  

We measure the customer use of our website and use these results to encourage take-up of on-line services and improve the information available to you.

The types of information we provide are:  

Requested Page
A requested page is the number of requests made for each page on our website.   

Page Visit
Counts one visit to a page per session no matter how many times a page is viewed.  

Unique Visitors
Someone who accesses our website – they are counted only once even if they access the site more than once during one month.  

Visitor Session
The time which a unique visitor spends on our website in one sitting.
