Care at home

The Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (ARC)

A unique service delivered via an integrated team of council and NHS staff, providing rehabilitation and intermediate care.

The ARC is fundamental in supporting NHS services by helping discharges from the local hospital’s busy acute wards and provide ‘step-up beds’ for individuals in the community to avoid hospital admissions.

The service offers a dedicated and tailored programme of support to help those in need achieve and maintain as much independence as possible.
