We've decided to extend the deadline for nominations for the Blackpool Youth Awards to Friday the 24th February 2012!
We are still looking for the best of Blackpool's Young People to get the chance to win these prestigious awards (and the great prizes that go with them - including 4 hours of driving lessons, West Coast Rock Cafe vouchers and a trip to the Tower Dungeon for 6 people!).
There are 9 categories which young people can be nominated in which are…

- Volunteer of the Year (sponsored by BCVYS)
- Youth Culture Award
- Respect Award (sponsored by Stonewall)
- Early Achievement Award
- Personal Journey (sponsored by Blackpool & the Fylde College Students Union)
- Bravery Award (sponsored by Lancashire Constabulary)
- Youth Project of the Year
- Young Person of the Year (sponsored by Glasdon)
To be eligible to win young people must be aged between 11 and 24 (or 5 - 11 for the Early Achievement Award) and must live, work or study in Blackpool.
