Our Arts Service provides Blackpool’s residents and visitors with opportunities for access to and participation in a wide range of high quality arts activities.
We have a strategic and delivery role in the development of these activities and work in partnership with a range of organizations such as the regional arts council.
We work with all art forms, including music, dance, drama, new media, creative writing, visual and public art.
The Service has overall responsibility for the Grundy Art Gallery and the Council’s Collection as well as the contemporary art works that make up the Great Promenade Show on South Shore.
We are able to offer advice and assistance to any community group in Blackpool interested in setting up a creative project with an artist or arts organization. We can also offer advice to local artists and creative practitioners interested in working with the community or in developing their creative business. Please contact us.
