Central Reassurance Plus

Central Reassurance Plus The Central Team are based at the Talbot and Brunswick Community Hub, 91 Victory Rd, contact: 01253 657132.

The Central Reassurance Plus area is split into two: - the Claremont area, north of Blackpool North railway station and bounded by Warley Rd, Dickson Rd and the railway line. - the Talbot and Brunswick area, South East of the station and bounded by Talbot Rd, Devonshire Rd and Church St. Click here for a map of the area.

Brunswick Reassurance was the first pilot Reassurance project run by the police in 2001. The lessons and experience gained from that pilot led directly to the current Reassurance Plus system; the staff in the Central Area therefore have well-established contacts with community groups and residents and in-depth background knowledge of the Reassurance way of working.

The Neighbourhood Delivery Manager in the Central Area is Michael Cooney.
