Becoming a member of Blackpool libraries

Membership of Blackpool libraries is free

Once you have completed your application a library card will be issued to you. This can be used to borrow items, access digital resources from home or on the move, or use the computers in the library (all of which is free to do)

• A maximum of 14 items can be borrowed at any one time
• Books and spoken word books can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks
• Items will generally be automatically renewed three times (i.e. up to 12 weeks in total); or borrowers can renew items themselves by telephone, online or when you visit the library 
• Blackpool libraries does not have overdue fines. If you are under 16, we ask that a parent/carer completes the form on your behalf
