Located at Palatine Leisure Centre in South Shore Blackpool is the 1km purpose built outdoor cycle track. Parking is available next to the track entrance.
Pay and play sessions are available and are included in the health and fitness memberships.
Upon arrival, please check in at Palatine's reception a member of the team will open the track for you.

The Wheels for All initiative is a nationally recognised programme that embraces all children and adults with disabilities and differing needs, to engage in a quality cycling activity.
By using specially adapted cycles, the activities are both physically and mentally stimulating and above all fun for everyone involved.'

Range of bikes
We have a huge range of adapted bikes to ride on. From 2 wheeled bikes to trikes and quads to wheel chair supporting bikes and hand-cycles, there is something fun for everyone to ride.
Public session
Active Blackpool delivers inclusive public Wheels for All cycling sessions at Blackpool Sports Centre:
Tuesday 1.00pm to 2.00pm
Thursday: 10.30am to 11.30am
Each session costs £3 per rider, which is payable at reception on arrival. Participants will be required to complete a registration form and or health questionnaire at first attendance. Days, times and availability are subject to change.
All participants will be asked to obtain an Active Blackpool leisure card at or before first attendance.
Private group bookings
Private bookings for groups are great for one off sessions, 6 week blocks or year round provision. A private booking ensures sole use of the track and bikes for your group or class. Please email for a quote.

Adult Cycling Training
Active Blackpool’s friendly and qualified cycle instructors deliver 1-to-1 cycle training to adults throughout the year.
Would you like to enhance your skills and confidence to cycle safely on the roads, making for a more enjoyable ride?
Our ‘Learn to Ride’ cycle training sessions have been designed to give you a practical training experience.

Adult cycling training further information
Who is the training for?
Learn to Ride training is for adults (18+). All participants must complete a consent form prior to training.
Training location
Training takes place on the cycle track at Palatine Leisure Centre (FY4 2AP) or on the athletics track at Blackpool Sports Centre (FY3 9HQ).
Days and times
The day/time can vary due to instructor availability. More often than not, training is held on Sunday mornings.
Pre booking and payment for all 1-to-1 training is essential prior to training - see details below.
Duration
Adult training is 2 hours in duration.
Cost
Adult: £35pp
Bike hire: £5 if you require a bike
Small group training is also available on request, min/max numbers do apply.
What to bring with you on the day
- Bring your own roadworthy bike and cycle helmet
- Bring some gloves, a jacket and waterproofs if necessary
- Wear suitable and comfortable clothing/footwear for cycling
