Climbing courses
Active Blackpool offer climbing courses and 1-1 tuition for both adults and children.
Pay and play courses
Adult and Junior (ages 5 to 17) pay and play courses can be booked online and is for all abilities including complete beginners.
You must hold a leisure card or membership to be able to book into these sessions. You can sign up for a leisure card or membership online or Book a tour appointment with a membership advisor. Please note pay and play courses are not included in the Health and Fitness membership.

Child Learn 2 Climb courses
Children follow the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) programme through levels 1 to 4.
Children must be aged between 7 and 17 years and the current timing of our classes and are shown below.

Parent waiting area
You have the option to wait whilst your child is in their class and for under 8’s a parent/guardian must remain on site.
If you are staying whilst your child is in the class seating is available outside of the climbing wall entrance door or on the upstairs viewing balcony.
Note: Parents are not able to access inside the climbing wall during the climbing course delivery times.
