Arrival

• You must check in at reception with your Active Blackpool Leisure Card.

Lane swimming

• Lane swimming is for those aged over 8 years only.
• Follow any instructions from lifeguards, including if they ask you to move lanes.

Family and casual swimming

• You must hold a Leisure Card (Pay as you Go) or membership, to be able to check in for activities.
• You can sign up for a leisure card online or book a tour appointment with a membership advisor
• Please follow any instructions from lifeguards.
• All children in the learner pool must be accompanied by an adult.

Adult supervision of under 8s

• If a swimmer is under 8 years old they must be supervised by an adult aged 16 or over, to the maximum ratios listed below.
• The adult must remain with the children they are supervising at all times and be in the water with them.
• Inexperienced and non-swimmers under 8 should wear armbands.

Main pool

• Any child aged 0 to 3 - 1 adult per child
• All children aged 4 to 7 – 1 adult per 2 children

Learner pool

• Any child aged 0 to 3 – 1 adult per 2 children
• All children aged 4 to 7 – 1 adult per 3 children

Spectating

• You must hold a leisure card or membership, you need not pre-book, but you must check in at reception and pay the spectator fee.
