‘Chance2Shine Recruitment’ is an exciting new venture that has really been a natural progression for the Positive Steps into Work team.
We are already offering a free recruitment package for permanent positions and the Chance2Shine Work Placements (see below), through this we realised that our gap in delivery was to be able to bridge the work placements transition to sustainable paid employment.
Chance2Shine Recruitment is a recruitment agency solution to support you with your temporary recruitment needs; however we are proud to be different from the current private sector market. We are good value, we have a flat fee that we will offer to all employers and will not charge you to make any temporary staff permanent- so no perm fees!

Positive Steps into work
Positive Steps into Work is a Council service designed to get unemployed people back into work and, at the same time, help local businesses to recruit local people.
It’s all part of our commitment to regenerating Blackpool and making it a better place to live, work and do business. We have detailed our other services below that may be of interest to you:
Positive Steps into work free recruitment
We also offer a free recruitment service which includes discussing your workforce needs, helping you to produce job descriptions so that you find the right staff with the skills and qualities you’re looking for, pre-screening and matching candidates ready for you to interview, organising interviews, and we’ll even find you a suitable venue to conduct the interviews if that’s what you need.
We can also give you up-to-date information on any schemes that might help your business to grow and help you to speak to the right people about accessing funding for free training from local training providers or recruiting Apprentices. Whatever you need, just ask, and if we don’t know then we’ll almost certainly know someone who does.
The best part of all is that our services come absolutely free in supporting local residents into work, you’re helping to make a real difference to the lives of local people.
