WorkWell is an early-support service for anyone aged 16 and older living on the Fylde coast or registered with a Fylde coast GP or people living in Lancashire and South Cumbria employed by a Fylde coast based company.
It’s designed for people with disabilities or health issues who need help with work.
Using WorkWell?
You can benefit from WorkWell if you:
- Need support to stay in your job
- Need help returning to work after being off sick
- Want to start a job but have been unemployed due to health reasons
- You are an employer who is struggling to support an employee to return to work
Please note that WorkWell is not the right fit for those with complex health issues
Support provided
WorkWell offers personalised support to help you overcome health-related barriers to work. Our team includes employment advisers and health and well-being coaches who will work with you for up to 12 weeks. Here’s what you can expect:
- Initial assessment: We will start with a one-on-one meeting to identify what challenges you face in finding or keeping a job
- Work planning: We’ll create a return-to-work plan with clear goals that address your physical, mental, and social needs
- Employer communication: If you agree, we can talk to your employer about your work plan and provide advice on how they can help
- Advice for employers: We’ll offer tips to employers on making adjustments at work to support you
- Ongoing support: You will have regular check-ins to discuss your progress and suggest any next steps
WorkWell will also help connect you to other local services that can support you. If your needs go beyond what we can provide, we’ll guide you to additional resources and follow up to make sure everything works together for your success.
