Fylde Coast residents unlock exclusive year-round discounts at top attractions

Residents with FY postcodes can now enjoy unbeatable savings at some of Blackpool’s most iconic attractions, thanks to a new initiative from Blackpool Tourism Limited.

Whether its dancing beneath the chandeliers of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, meeting celebrities at Madame Tussauds, or making a splash at Sandcastle Waterpark, locals can now experience the very best of Blackpool - for up to 50% off.

The exclusive offer includes discounted entry to:

  • Blackpool Tower Attractions: The Dungeons, Circus, Ballroom and Tower Top
  • Sandcastle Waterpark
  • Madame Tussauds Blackpool

 

Available all year round, this resident-only deal is designed to make unforgettable experiences more accessible than ever.

The FY Locals’ discount will start at 20% off and go up to 50% at off peak periods.

“We’re absolutely delighted to launch this exclusive offer for our Fylde Coast residents. “For the first time, locals can enjoy year-round access to discounted entry at Blackpool’s most iconic attractions - with savings of at least 20%, and up to 50% depending on the season. “This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to the community, and we can’t wait to welcome local families to enjoy a fun-filled day out together.”

Cllr Lynn Williams MBE, Leader of Blackpool Council, said:

“This is a fantastic initiative and one that I know that will be welcomed by residents of all ages. “Blackpool Council is proud to own all these amazing attractions, it is vitally important that residents are given the opportunity to experience them. They belong to the town and should be enjoyed by them. “We have wanted to introduce this for some time, and it is now it is possible thanks to the attractions being operated locally by our own wholly-owned company.”

To access the discount, residents should select the “Locals” options on the website of the relevant attraction. Discount will be applied once the postcode has been verified.

In addition to the new discount scheme, Blackpool Council taxpayers will continue to be able to visit Showtown for free.
