New home for Blackpool’s Visitor Information Centre

VisitBlackpool’s Visitor Information Centre has a new home inside the world-famous Blackpool Tower.

The centre has relocated from Festival House on the Promenade in a move that will bring visitor services into the heart of one of Blackpool’s most iconic landmarks.

The Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is a vital resource welcoming thousands of visitors every year. 

The team is now ready to welcome new guests to the new centre, located on the ground floor of the building on Bank Hey Street. 

Kate Shane MBE, Managing Director of Blackpool Tourism Ltd, said:

"We are thrilled to relocate the Tourist Information Centre into the iconic Blackpool Tower. “Festival House has been a wonderful base, but it can suffer from lower footfall and occasional access issues in poor weather. By moving to Bank Hey Street, the centre will benefit from year-round, consistently high visitor numbers, alongside the hundreds of thousands who flock to the Tower itself. “Guests can continue to expect the same warm welcome, friendly service, and easy access to tickets and souvenirs in this new location."

  • All Blackpool’s attractions
  • Theatres and Show Venues
  • National Express
  • Blackpool Transport Tram and Buses
  • Coach Excursions

The new VisitBlackpool Tourist Information Centre will be open every day from 9am-5pm.
