Bin collections

New collection days

As we move from fortnightly to three‑weekly bin collections and introduce weekly food waste collections, many residents will have a new collection day (for example you may change from a Monday to a Wednesday). Here’s what you need to know:

• Residents will have a three-weekly collection cycle for grey-lid, blue-lid and brown-lid bins 
• Some households will have a one-off grey-lid bin collection to bridge the gap from the old to new schedule, full information can be found below
• Food waste collections will take place weekly
• No changes for households on red sack collections
• Green and Go (garden waste) collections remain fortnightly for subscribers

Presenting your waste for collection

• Please ensure your wheeled bins are presented by 7.00am on your collection day*
• Please place your food caddy by the kerbside for collection by 7.00am on your collection day*
• Please ensure your red sacks are presented by 7.00am on your collection day
• All of your waste should be placed inside its designated bin with the lid closed

• Please label your bins and outdoor food caddy with your house number
