Blackpool Council's children's centres have now grown into Family Hubs – a one-stop shop for a variety of services for children and families of all ages, giving opportunities to meet people, learn new things and find support.
There are three Family Hubs in Blackpool in the North, Central and South of the town, bringing warm and welcome spaces for families, children and young people from 0 to 19.
Family hub locations
Whether it’s going to the café for a brew, accessing a baby group and supporting early learning at home, or going to a parenting course or a session for young people, your local Family Hub has it all under one roof.
Each hub has a varied timetable of classes, events and activities on offer for local people. They are somewhere you and your child/children can make friends and learn as they play.
Bringing services into the community making them more inclusive and accessible. These include:
- Housing support
- Birth registration
- Expert advice on healthcare, parenting and family support
- Mental health drop-in sessions
- Adult learning courses and more
