Neu Way Support
Launch of new support service for families of children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs. We are delighted to inform you that from 6 July, families across Lancashire and South Cumbria will be able to access Neu Way Support, a new service for families of children and young people aged 0 to 25 who may have autism, ADHD or other neurodevelopmental differences. The service is available based on need, which means you do not need a diagnosis to get support.
Neu Way Support is available for families of children and young people aged 0 to 25 who:
- Have concerns about autism, ADHD or other neurodevelopmental differences
- Are waiting for an assessment
- Have recently received a diagnosis
- Would benefit from information, advice or support to help navigate services

Joining the Parent Carer Forum
The Parent Carer Forum are currently reviewing the members on the Forum's Facebook page to make sure Blackpool families are getting the correct information for their area.

Learning Disability Partnership Carers Group
The Learning Disability Partnership Board are looking into whether carers want a dedicated group specifically for those caring for someone with a learning disability. It would be both a place to get support, and a place to ensure that carers have a voice in shaping the work of the Learning Disability Partnership Board.
The adult social care team at Blackpool Council have put together a survey to ask about this. The more responses they get, the clearer picture they will have of what is needed.
