Blackpool SEND Local offer relaunch
We have taken recent feedback into account and have relaunched the Blackpool SEND Local Offer. We know that sometimes it is not always easy to find what you are looking for and we have therefore seperated advice and information content into a dedicated area. If you are looking for information about local services and what support is available you can find this information within the Blackpool Local Offer SEND directory.
We will be working on further content over the coming months and taking into account any further views.
SENDIASS drop in sessions
THE SENDIASS empower you with the information and advice you need to make informed choices about your own, or your child or young persons special educational needs and/or disability.
Drop Ins focus on:
- Support applying for your child's school place for September 2023
- Information about what is available in Blackpool to support your child or young person with SEND
- Help to understand SEN support and what to expect from your child or young persons education setting.

Blackpool SENDIASS work with parents, carers and young people to offer Information, Advice and Support on all aspects of SEN and Disability relating to children and young people aged 0 to 25.

Young mental health first aid courses
Courses are for anyone that works with, supports or lives with young people aged 8 - 18. One day course 22nd June 2023 and other dates available. For more information email: bfwh.options4cyp@nhs.net
