Targeted
- Referral to specialist health visitor for Perinatal and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) for advice/support/training
- Access to advice for all children with identified delay, if triaged to setting support
- Access to Early Talk and Early Talk Boost intervention training
- Single point of entry for multi-agency triage panel
- Practitioners to have access to key messages promoting positive interaction from the early years team, Communicate CIC and Better Start
- One funded NHS Makaton training place for staff, per child with identified need
Specialist
- Advice and support for the implementation of speech and language therapy targets within the setting
- Access to early years SEND advisory teacher support for children with complex speech, language and communication
- Needs led training e.g. for stammering, selective mutism etc.
- Acces to further information on alternative, augmentative communication (AAC) through the ACE Centre.
