These are some of the performing arts, music and dance groups for young people and adults with SEND in Blackpool.

Mondays (term time only) for children and young people aged 4 to 16 at Woodlands School, Whitegate Drive Blackpool, FY3 9HF

Tuesdays (term time only) for young people and adults from 17 to 25+aged at Woodlands School, Whitegate Drive Blackpool, FY3 9HF

TramShed is an inclusive theatre company and registered charity offering inclusive performing arts to children, young people and adults across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. We deliver inclusive music, dance and drama on a weekly basis, both face to face and digitally, and reach out to local and wider communities through a variety of outreach and inclusive training programmes. We have no exclusions or limitations and encourage anyone who has an interest in the arts to get involved. We are unique to the local area.

No referral but attendees must apply for places - Application form on website or call/email. Based at Woodland's school. 

£50 per term 12 weeks in advance of 1st workshop.

Northern Lights Morris Dancing

Looking for a new hobby or wanting to dust off your pumps? Why not give Northern Lights a go. Fun friendly and dedicated troup. No experience necessary, girls and boys welcome from 3 - 16+. Fully inclusive troupe.

Tuesday nights at the Wainwright Club, Hornby Road, Blackpool, FY1 4RD

Babies group for children up to 6 years is on 5.00 to 6.00pm

Dinkys group for children up to 9 years is on 5.00 tp 6.00pm

Tinies group for children up to 12 years is on 6.00 to 7.00pm

Juniors group for young people up to age 16 is on 7.00 to 8.00pm

Seniors group for young people and adults aged 16+ is on 8.00 to 9.00pm

NW1 Theatre School

NW1 Blackpool opened in July 2024 as our third school. Located at The Oracle, our Musical Theatre delivery takes place in a fantastic open plan studio space.

At NW1, we pride ourselves on being focused on the individual needs of each student and maintaining a comfortable and happy environment where they feel safe to express themselves and build confidence.

Blackpool parents inform that this theatre school is very inclusive.
