Nibbles Community cafes offer a wide range of development opportunities in a supportive, friendly catering environment.

Working in partnership with other council providers this service aims to provide the best possible training as well as the best possible service to those accessing these 5-star food hygiene rated cafes.
Nibbles community cafes provide person-centred training programmes, supportive staff and state of the art equipment to create a positive learning environment for anybody. From basic customer service and cooking skills, through to money-handling and communications skills, the training covers all aspects of catering and hospitality.
There is no time scale to these courses, each learner will have their own individual learning profile so individual achievements can be recognised and recorded and areas of support can be focused on.
The training and accreditation opportunities on offer at all Nibbles community cafes include:
- Basic food hygiene certificate
- First aid training
- Customer care
- Introduction to kitchen skills
- Work experience programme
Training at Nibbles community cafés can lead to employment opportunities, further study as well as offering valuable independent living skills in cooking and food management.
