In partnership with NHS Blackpool and the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), Vitaline provides a falls lifting service for individuals who have fallen either in their own home or in a care home setting in Blackpool. For people who have experienced a fall Vitaline will provide a follow up call to check on the person's welfare, provide advice, and signpost/refer to other specialist services as appropriate with the aim of reduced the risk of further falls.
Vitaline works with the NHS to support discharge from hospital, working with the discharge team and social care to manage risks in the home to enable patients to return home as quickly as possible.
