Stray and found dogs

Dogs unaccompanied by an owner in a public place are considered to be stray dogs.

  • If you find a stray dog and you know the owner, please return it to them as soon as possible.
  • If you find a stray dog and do not know the owner and you feel able to do so, please take dog in and arrange for us to come and collect it.
  • If you do not feel comfortable taking in the dog please report it to us as soon as possible.
