We’re recruiting volunteer tree wardens
Whether you’re a tree expert, or just passionate about a greener Blackpool – we’re looking for people who can spare some time to help.
Tree wardens can help with a range of tasks (dependent upon your own preferences), such as:
- Helping to plant new trees and care for existing ones
- Identifying areas for planting in the borough
- Raising awareness about trees in you local community
- Working in the community to organise tree planting days
Tree warden's will not only support Blackpool Council's mission to increase canopy cover and protect existing trees, but also provide meaningful experiences for volunteers. Tree wardens will receive training, guidance, and support, benefiting both physically and mentally from their time spent outdoors.
