Citizenship Ceremonies can currently take place in Blackpool at The Wedding Chapel (Festival House) but only the prospective citizen may attend.
Usually you must attend a Citizenship Ceremony within 3 months of receiving your invitation from the Home Office but because of coronavirus, this has been extended to 6 months.
Do not book a ceremony until you’ve received your invitation letter. Because of coronavirus, it can take up to 3 months from being told your application was successful to receiving your letter.

Certificate of Naturalisation
Your certificate is sent to us by the Home Office. If the personal details you gave us do not appear correctly on your certificate, you should return it after the ceremony has taken place to:

You should explain the mistake and enclose evidence to support what you say.
The Home Office usually wants to see official documents as evidence. If the mistake is yours, they may not be able to change it.
