New housing developmentTroutbeck Crescent

A £10m new affordable housing redevelopment Troutbeck Crescent in Mereside.

The scheme, developed by Blackpool Council which is managed on behalf of the council by Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH).

The development offers a total of 75 contemporary designed, affordable, high quality social housing rented homes to families, individuals and includes accessible living units with low running costs.

It has replaced the original six three-storey blocks of 81 existing flats that were on the site.

New housing development.Grange Park development

Work has started on the creation on 131 new homes at Grange Park.

The £20 million project, will see the construction of 96 affordable houses, five bungalows and 30 sheltered apartments.

The new homes will be partially funded by a grant from Homes England. Funding from the European Regional Development Fund will support the installation of air source heat pumps in 30 of the homes and a new cycle path.
