Blackpool Council’s fair employment charter outlines a bold, inclusive vision to make the town a better place to work and do business.
Developed in collaboration with residents, employers, and trade unions, the charter aims to:
- Raise employment standards
- Enhance job quality
- Support sustainable economic growth across the region
Designed to be flexible and accessible, employers can choose modules relevant to their business and apply for different levels of recognition based on their current practices.
Those achieving the highest standards across all modules will be awarded full accreditation.
Participation in the scheme is free of charge, with no membership or sign-up fees. An example of the main topics covered for each accreditation level is outlined below:
| Level | Status |
|---|---|
| Level 1 (entry) | Signed up and committed |
| Level 2 (advanced) | Making progress towards good |
| Level 3 (complete) | Evidence of all level 2 criteria and modules complete |
Join us in making Blackpool a great place to live, work and do business.
