Our school meals are central to what we do. We are proud to make delicious and healthy meals with local ingredients.

We have been awarded the Bronze Food for Life Catering Mark in recognition of the following achievements:

• Over 75% of our food is freshly prepared and cooked on site* and all our menus are compliant with the government’s ‘Food Standards for Schools’
• We work closely with local suppliers from across Lancashire
• 75% of the food we purchase is produced in the UK
• We are fully committed to animal welfare and only use meat that is classified under a farm assurance scheme. We only use free-range eggs in our cooking and baking
• All our fish is MSC certified- meaning it is sourced responsibly and comes from a certified sustainable fishery. This protects and safeguards seafood supplies. All our tuna is dolphin friendly
• Menus are seasonal and in-season produce is highlighted for pupils

Our school meals are central to what we do.

We know that serving meals with the right nutritional balance boosts a young person's development, behaviour and ability to learn, teachers notice an increase in their pupil’s concentration levels in the afternoon after eating a well-balanced school lunch. We are proud to make delicious and healthy meals with locally sourced ingredients.

Our daily menus include a main meal option (with a vegetarian/vegan alternative). There are also lighter lunches available such as a jacket potato or sandwich.

We currently serve meals in 29 schools across Blackpool, including primary, secondary, SEND and PRU settings.
